Asunción Pérez “Choni” began to study Spanish flamenco and classical dance at a very young age, a specialty in which she is now a teacher certified by the Superior Conservatory of Dance of Seville. Her teachers have been Milagros Mengíbar, Manolete, Antonio Canales, Javier Latorre, La Yerbabuena, Israel Galván, Javier Barón and the maestro Granero…. She has been part of the companies of Mario Maya, José Joaquín, Antonio El Pipa and Eva La Yerbabuena. Today she demonstrates talent with her own dance company. “The glory of my sea” is the latest production of, “Choni Compañia Flamenca”.
